Sometimes the best memories come from the most unexpected little trips, and our weekend in Savannah, Georgia was definitely one for the books.

Beckham and I flew into Savannah for one reason—the Savannah Bananas Kids Camp! If you’ve ever heard of the Bananas, you already know they’re more than just baseball. They’re entertainment, energy, and a whole lot of fun wrapped into one unforgettable experience.

Watching Beckham get to be part of the camp was something I’ll never forget. Seeing his excitement as he stepped onto the field, learned from the players, and soaked in every minute reminded me why I love making these memories together.

One of the biggest highlights was getting to meet all of the Savannah Bananas players. They truly make every fan feel special, taking time for photos, autographs, and conversations. Beckham was especially excited to meet one of the team’s most popular players, KJ. He was just as fun and energetic in person as everyone says, and it was easy to see why fans love him so much.

That evening we headed to the Savannah Bananas game, and wow—it absolutely lived up to the hype. It’s hard to even call it just a baseball game because it’s more like a nonstop show. Between the dancing, music, crowd interaction, and incredible baseball, there wasn’t a dull moment. Beckham couldn’t stop smiling, and honestly, neither could I.

After the game, we spent some time exploring beautiful downtown Savannah. The city has so much charm with its historic streets, gorgeous architecture, moss-covered oak trees, and cozy little shops around every corner. It’s one of those places where you can simply walk around and enjoy the atmosphere.

Of course, no trip is complete without finding a great place to eat. We ended up at a cute little restaurant called Flock to the Wok, and it did not disappoint. The food was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we needed after such a busy day. If you’re visiting Savannah and love Asian food, I’d definitely recommend adding it to your list.

This trip reminded me that adventures don’t have to be extravagant to be meaningful. A quick flight, quality time with Beckham, baseball, great food, and exploring a beautiful city made for the perfect getaway.

Savannah gave us memories we’ll be talking about for years, and I have a feeling this won’t be our last visit.

Until the next adventure…
